But I think I'll stick to the books I haven't read before so maybe SS&S will be next for me too!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09259549933849264277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7786594091195860484.post-48501033554976881442011-05-27T07:23:36.919+10:002011-05-27T07:23:36.919+10:00I enjoyed this book, but agree with you. I agree that some of the zombie add-ins were somewhat forced, but a lot of them worked really well. I especially liked the fact that Elizabeth took down three ninjas and bit into one of their hearts. It made her even more bad-ass. :)

One thing that I like about these splices is that they get people to read books that they may not have initially been interested in. I have no desire to read all of the "Quirk Classics" but, as I'm pretty sure I'm not going to read Anna Karenina, I may read Android Karenina.

For me, nothing will ever replace the original Pride and Prejudice, but if this makes it more bearable for some people, then I say let them eat cake. No, wait, I meant to say let them read these versions. :)

All in all, I think Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a much better Grahame-Smith book.gabrielreadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11809365791580695386noreply@blogger.com
